We are proud to announce that our 2025 Kempsey Show Canteen fundraiser was an overwhelming success — raising more funds for our Club than ever before! Every dollar raised goes straight back into supporting our junior basketball programs and ensuring that our game remains affordable and accessible for all local kids.
This amazing outcome was made possible by the hard work, generosity and community spirit of our volunteers and supporters. 💙

Thank you to the Kempsey Show Committee for giving us the opportunity to run the Canteen again this year. This fundraiser is our club’s biggest event of the year, and we’re so grateful to be part of the Show and connect with our community.
🌟 A Massive Thank You to Our Leaders
Natalie C, Acting Fundraising Coordinator and Food Safety Supervisor, did an outstanding job leading our operation. She revamped our entire system, coordinated ordering, made daily sandwiches, wraps and sweets (before and after her regular workdays), and managed our crew every step of the way. Her leadership and commitment were second to none.
Noel C, our ever-reliable Treasurer, gave up his holiday to volunteer five full days — managing orders, daily reconciliations, setup, pack down, and cooking up what many declared the best bacon and egg rolls in town. His contribution was invaluable.
Natalie and Noel — your combined efforts were absolutely instrumental to this year’s success.

We are incredibly proud of our junior coaches, Tristan, Thomas, and Levi, who volunteered their time and showed true leadership and maturity across the event. Their commitment to our club’s culture and future is deeply appreciated.

Although not a basketball player himself, Cruz was an absolute champion — turning up each day to help and support the club in every way he could. His generosity and dedication are a beautiful reminder that being part of a team goes beyond the court.
