There is plenty happening at Kempsey Basketball, and every event, fundraiser and Wednesday night program helps us create more opportunities for our kids. We don't need every family to do everything. We just need more families to choose one thing that works for them.
KBA works hard to keep basketball affordable for our families. Player fees alone do not cover everything it costs to provide our programs, competitions, equipment, representative opportunities and club activities.
That's where fundraising and volunteering make a real difference. Every raffle ticket sold, BBQ shift covered, cake baked and hour given helps KBA meet those costs without simply passing them back to families.
Your time helps your fees.
When we all do a little, we can keep fees lower, keep programs running and continue creating opportunities for our kids.

The Frederickton Hotel is giving KBA a great opportunity to raise funds through its Friday night raffles.

Bunnings BBQ
Our Bunnings BBQ is one of our strongest fundraising opportunities. A few hours from a number of families makes a really significant contribution to the club.
Two hours of your time helps us raise money that would otherwise need to come from somewhere else, including player fees.

Wednesday nights
Wednesday nights are about getting more local kids on court. A few extra hands help us keep these programs simple, affordable and running smoothly.

You don't need to help every week. Helping once or twice a month spreads the workload and helps keep the cost of running local basketball down.
Riverside markets
The Riverside Markets are an exciting opportunity for KBA to build a more sustainable fundraising stream, while also creating opportunities for local young people.

- Stall — help on the KBA stall
- Set-up / pack-down — give us a hand before or after the market
- Youth support — support the young people in our youth employment program
The stronger our fundraising becomes, the less pressure there is to recover every club cost through player fees.
