Northern Junior League venues

Representative rounds are played as weekend tournaments at venues across the north coast and New England, including Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Ballina, Byron Bay, Lismore, Armidale and Inverell.

Each round is confirmed in the draw, with venues and court numbers listed game by game. Families should be prepared for weekend travel and, for some rounds, an overnight stay.

A home for basketball

Kempsey needs its own courts

Let's build it together.

Right now, our teams travel to play competition basketball. Kempsey does not have a compliant indoor venue capable of hosting our own local competition, and that is the single biggest thing holding basketball back in the Macleay Valley.

KBA is working towards fit-for-purpose indoor courts in Kempsey. We are assessing the viability of the project and building the case for investment alongside Kempsey Shire Council, PCYC Kempsey and government partners.

We are looking for businesses and community partners who want to be part of it. A home venue means more kids playing, less travel for families, and the ability to host events that bring people into Kempsey.
