Kempsey Basketball enters local teams in the Port Macquarie Basketball Association (PMBA) local competitions, in both juniors (under 18 - intermediate to advanced level) and seniors (over 18’s) played at Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium.

Training for our KBA Teams entered into PMBA Local Comp are held weekly at Melville High School. Training days and times TBC once you are registered.

We are in the process of setting up a new junior competition to be played at Melville High School during 2025 for junior players (beginner to intermediate level). Please register your interest below.

2025 PMBA Winter Competition:

Registrations are NOW OPEN for the upcoming PMBA 2025 Winter Competition.

Registrations for PMBA Winter Comp close: Wednesday 30th April 2025.

Winter Competition Details:

• Season Start: Week beginning 12th May 2025

• Venue: Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium (1A Hibbard Drive, Port Macquarie)

• Competition Days:

• Monday: U14 Boys, B & C Grade Men

• Wednesday: U16 & U18 Boys, A Grade Men, Women

• Training: Your team coach will be in touch about team name and training times. 

All players who wish to play in a Kempsey team in the upcoming Winter season for 2025 must complete the Player Details Form. This form collects additional information about the player, such as preferred playing location, train so that the player can be placed in the domestic team that fits them the best.

2025/2026 PMBA Summer Competition:

Registrations for PMBA 2025/2026 Summer Comp are not open yet.
