Understanding the Costs

We aim to keep basketball as accessible as possible for our community, while covering the real costs of running programs, competitions and training.

There are three main costs involved when playing basketball at Kempsey.

$110 per year

This covers your Basketball NSW and Kempsey Basketball membership, including insurance for training and games.

Approximately $180 per season (junior local competition)

These fees are paid each season and cover:

Team entry fees
Coaching and training
Court hire

Most competitions run in line with school terms, with two seasons per year.

Players may need a uniform depending on the program or team.

Some teams provide loan singlets, while others may require purchase.

We understand that cost can be a barrier for some families.

We actively support our community through funding programs, grants and flexible options where possible.
